It's not an ironic cover. It's just some weak drums, square waves playing chords and this really dumb sound cheesy lead over it with the A Milli vocal. Like "oooh let's get rid of the massive heavy bass and instead make it really cheesy and awkward". You couldn't miss the point of the tune more if you tried. The lead melody sounds like it's taking the piss for fuck's sake. Is it supposed to be a joke? I can't believe anyone could make such an awful remix on purpose

I like some James Blake stuff. Just not his remixes that basically all suck compared to the originals or his boring singing albums.

He has potential to make actually interesting music. I don't know why he throws it away on making such bland albums or "I'm going to miss the vibe of every tune" remixes.
