Not resisting the thoughts helps. When you resist them with an emotionally charged response, you prioritize the thoughts in your heads.

You can't help random thoughts popping up in your head, but you can control how you deal with them. When you stop caring about having the thoughts, the thoughts will go away.

I'm not going to lie, she crushed me (emotionally, she wasn't obese) and I just haven't been able to recover. Never learned those skills and have manly men friends/family who don't talk about gay things like feelings.
