Zakim is a dance & electronic record label based out of Boston, founded by Nick Minieri (Beantown Boogiedown), and launched earlier this year. Zakim's about three things: music that is fresh, funky, and fun. The label's current focus is on local artists, and the city's iconic bridge is used to symbolize the connection and evolution of different styles within dance music.
Releases on Zakim currently run on strictly limited-edition vinyl to ensure collectability and longevity, but digital downloads will be available at some point next year.
