Disclaimer: This is a work in progress and is not the final version.
This is a track I started about two days ago. I would say I'm about 1/3rd away from completion. There are more composition pieces that need to be filled and fillers. I'm not satisfied with the wub wub and I'll be implementing more variety to keep things interesting.
Anyways, please enjoy the early stages of this track:

Hmm. Seems as though you know what you need to do with this, you have posted a wip and your post is kinda hinting at people to refrain from critting? Perhaps you should have waited until it was finished?
Anyway, some pretty soothing stuff so far, kick is way more powerful than the snare (which is of very poor quality) I believe it should be the other way around really, snare standing out more than the kick, spose it depends on the style. Just my personal pref.

Snare is shit. I agree. It was a default sample from FL Studio. Kick needs to be toned down and it will. Sub Bass is huge and I think I want to tone that down a bit. It seems to overpower the whole track. I think I want to add another mid frequency bass to make it more lively.Echoi wrote:Hmm. Thanks for your critique.
Re: highdrake - Wild Turkey (chill / dubstep)
damn that sub needs turning down for sure! from 1.09 is the vibe you should stick with tbh, those robotic sounds do nothing for me and i don't feel add anything to your track. i'm sure you know your drums need more work along with better chosen samples...

Hi guys, Here's an updated version. Still more work to be done, but I think it's a vast improvement from the original. I'd say it's about half way done now.
