It's like Headhunter - Nomad and 2562 - Aerial

I don't think I'll ever stop listening to those albums.

Aerial is such a sick album.

I think I listened to Diary of an Afro warrior maybe once the whole way through. There a couple good tunes on it but not a great album imo

Yep, this. I'll still dance to Night in a club, but the album was meh in the extreme. Had such high hopes, too... I'm not sure I've consciously listened to a new Benga tune since. Boring fuck. :|

Benga's Essential Mix still one of my favourite dubstep mixes - so many dubs of his.

I really think the new Dub Police compilation would be great to show someone new to dubstep, it's got some deeper tracks, dubby ones, decent tearout, purple and then obviously some brosteppy stuff. Not all the tunes are the best tunes of all time or anything, but you gotta say it's got a great variety to show someone new to it.

wat. :a:
26 basslines?
E trips?
Pleasure?
Nights one of the lower tracks (still good though)

Dont think Ive heard anything of Bengas since then, especially after he went Radio one.

Saying alll this Dubstep is a weird genre for albums for me. One of us is good because its short. Even Mala in Cuba is not something I can listen to all the way through and thats pretty diffrent

They're all fine, yeah... it's not like it sounds offensive, just incredibly mediocre. I've just had no reason to ever put it on. Maybe if I hold a coffee morning in a few years time.

Mala in Cuba is coffee morning music.

Diary Of An Afro Warrior is hype.

As I mentioned, that come close to being the ultimate dubstep album. Thing that makes it fall of being the best example is the vocals. I really like the vocals on MOTF, but by its very nature, dubstep is largely vocal-free.

lol it's not about that. just that it wouldn't be the best example since it has vocals. imagine listening to that for the first time, loving the vocals and then expecting dubstep to have vocals
