Your Favorite Speakers.
I currently own a pair of KRK Rokits. However I hear that the VXT's are a lot better? I have also been looking in to switching to the Yamaha HS series Speakers. What are your personal favorites?

Re: Your Favorite Speakers.
speakers as in "hifi speaker" or as in "monitor"? I wouldn't want to listen to music for hours on Rokits or HS5s, for example.
also, choice of speaker very much comes down to the positioning of the speakers and the room's layout in general. some sound better, some worse in different circumstances - ESPECIALLY when it comes to monitoring. I personally am a dedicated Adam fanboy, and I really love their tweeter membranes which imho deliver some unparalleled clarity (per quid spent).
Mackie MR8 have been good to me in the past. good bass, but not exactly what you'd call a bookshelf speaker.
but as long as your room isn't acoustically treated, just get some secondhand active 6" - 8" JBLs and be done with it.
