Yeah, Entourage is extremely shallow in many ways but it's some of the best 'easy viewing' going. Ari is the best, obvs, E is a gimp though, for real.

Entourage went on for a season longer than it had to. Ari is a fucking GOD.

I've got 3 episodes of Sopranos left and then I might just bally well throw my telly out of the Window.

Orange is the New Black.

Serious, probably enjoyed it a little bit more than Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire this year.

I really enjoyed it too, based on a true story. Can't wait for the new season next year.

It hit the right balance between comedy and drama that you really don't see much of anymore.

That ending was :o

Thought I'd watched it last night and was slightly non-plussed, but set up for the finale tonight... seemed to finish strangely unresolved.

BECAUSE THERE ARE TWO MORE EPISODES THAN I THOUGHT.

All praise the mighty telly gods! :D

It certainly felt like a series finale. I'm surprised they have renewed the show for the fourth season.
Although I liked the third season, I must admit it was the worst so far. So poorly written at times.

yeah i know what you mean. the show feels very under-funded to me. like its a show about the CIA and there's a total of what 6 characters? cmon the CIA has thousands of people in it. if it had the budget of a show like 24 it would be one of the best series of all-time imo.

yes it did feel like a series finale. it'll be interesting to see how they get out of this cliffhanger. i wonder if the whole thing was planned from the beginning because of how closely the themes mirror what's going on in the real world.

I liked the season. At first I was very skeptical but when everything started coming together I found it was getting good. I agree with the poor writing comment, the first 2 seasons made places for everyone in the plot and kept every character line interesting,
[+] Spoiler
in this one the iranian CIA girl didn't get nearly enough attention (Wasn't she supposed to have family in Tehran to help and shit ? Why didn't they exploit that ?) and the Javadi subplot felt like it came out of nowhere (although I liked the way they tied it with the main plot).

Started watching Orange is the New Black on your recommendation.

Holy fuck. One of the first prison guards you meet, the one who is trying to take a picture of her like half way through the first episode, is Ziggy's brother from the wire. His name is Nick Sobotka in the wire.

is this shit actually good? it seems like a bit of a chick flick

edit: at first i thought sobotka was like an extra. now it seems he's an actual character
