yeah, Dispatch is gold. Ant TC1 is a don and every single artist we've had with us (DLR, Ant, Survival, Amoss (James), Hybris) are the friendliest and most fun guys you could wish to meet. proper good DJs as well, Hybris' set was probably the best we've ever had the honour to host, Survival comes in a close second and Icicle takes 3rd place. however, dispatch is Leeds based, I was thinking of Demand Records.

unemployment is an issue all over the country tbf.
I just feel copenhagen is one of the more boring cities in northern europe and that us danes are the least open and sociable people there are. there's no really good music comming from here either.

Still, I reckon we're better off than most other countries. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be trying to make things better though, imo.

sure at least with social benefits, food and education and so on. but culturally and socially its generally cold fish unless its some people you know and all diy.

Didn't mean to say the unemployment was primarily in CPH.

I dunno, I like it here and I don't generally find the stereotype that Danes are supposed to be cool and uninviting to be true. I find most people just need a little nudge to get them out of their shells and they will usually be nice and helpful.

Just out of curiosity, what cities in Northern Europe do you find more interesting?

Re: music it's all different strokes innit, there's loads of techno everywhere so I agree it's a bit slim pickings if you're not into that at all. But I still feel like I face the luxury problem of having to choose what interesting event/night to go to every weekend.

Switzerland has the great advantage of being a really tiny country and having a public transport service that gets you from one end to the other in a timely manner. clubbers are super mobile; I find myself going to nights in Geneva, Bern and Basel even though I live in Zurich (3h50min train ride, or approximately 1h each respectively).

It's more of a train of thought than an actual 'equation', but I can't comprehend how a medium german city like frankfurt or like any big polish city has as much going for it as copenhagen has. You know what I mean? there's nothing really defining it other than a few spots that have had a lot of trouble just surviving predujice or whatever.

Thats nice. But probably it's mostly imported music. .right? not that there's anything wrong with that - it's just not the same. I'm being pedantic here but there's a difference.
