Re: Deep Medi Christmas Skank
True, at times it felt more like at the punkrock gig being carried from one spot to another with the crowd moving. Had to run off to Mungo's room for a breather a couple of times. Could have done with a tad bit more of bass, too. But overall, good night!
if the devil is six then god is seven
Re: Deep Medi Christmas Skank
main room lacked a bit of bass, true
mungos hifi was cool, a bit empty tho but they played top tunes every time i was there
kahn & commodo were top imho, excellent set (victory as an opener! mad!!)
compa was a bit too hype for an early set, but overall better than i'd expected
mala was good aswell, so many singalongs

I am from the North not too far from the border and I've travelled down to System a few times. I ain't doing NYE but next year if you wanna head down, give me a holla.bennyfroobs wrote:i live on the border of scotland... which is probably why none of my friends want to go hahaJohnlenham wrote:we are also usually the loudest and first to draw for the lightersJohoosh wrote:You in/near London Mr. froobs?bennyfroobs wrote:lol noneof my mates are game for this or system nye what is life

If so & you're that up for going i'd say don't be put off reaching solo: you should meet up with the Ninjas. i've done this b4 for System and it was a wicked night![]()
They're all safe. Look for Jim (sweatiest bloke in the room) or Hobson (tallest bloke in the room)
would be good to come and say hi to ppl at some point tho!

Big evening all round. Swindle/Silkie/Quest killed it at the end and it was nice to have a bit of room finally.

Re: Deep Medi Christmas Skank
ahhh what was the free record- we were aiming for early early arrival but our mate left Cambridge a bit later than expected so we didn't land till half 10..
Big vibes, A/T/O/S were really really good, vocalist is sickaaaa
Good to hear some lesser heard older tunes and plenty of fresh bits... although seriously, Deep Medi is not for moshing, I see people go flying who clearly were just trying to enjoy themselves...
Good to see lots of old faces out, was like a proper xmas catchup..
room 1 needs bassweight like room 2!

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.
