what the fuck are you talking about? name me one type of electronic music that hasn't taken elements of techno or house? Most dubstep wouldn't have happened without elements from techno especially.

Yeah but most people who take elements of techno probably like it, but then some of these 130 go on about how techno is shit and boring, yet they wouldnt be making what they are making if it wasnt for techno lol
dnb was amazing for a long time.explaining that, however, does feel abit like when stadium rock ended and you had to walk home with your sweaty mullet all by yourself lol

yeah its a bit silly when people don't even understand where their influences are coming from

From a distance I see why you'd think DNB is boring as fuck, and I actually barely listen to any of it made after 2000, but I went to Bunch of Cuts in London in the summer and it was actually not like you'd think. Defo not crusty. Quite a few people who looked under 20 and about a 60/40 male/female ratio.
Too much of that minimal halfstep 170 was played for sure, but certain sets like Doc Scott on the 5AM-6AM merked the dance.

i think a lot of the keysound kinda stuff is really good and there's been some sick producers come out of it
the fanboy mentality some people have towards it can be a little offputting sometimes though (which i think might be a large part of why agent is against it as a 'scene')
