Bit touch and go in the second half but a good game with plenty of goals. Rodriguez was a class act not celebrating his goal against his old team. Chucked it down all afternoon though.

It's just polite, I guess. Shows an amount of respect both to the former teammates and supporters who used to cheer for them. One of the unspoken laws of football, like applauding a player who heads back to his keeper to allow him to pick the ball up.

I understand wanting to rest players to help with avoiding relegation, but as soon as the team sheet went up you could tell he'd gone too far with a full on b team strategy.
