that includes the bbc though, and they have no real reason to give a fuck about page views
Not that I want to 'interfere' but ofcourse they do - clicks are revenue and you couldn't in this day and time build a busyness model without it.
I can barely count though so don't take my word for it
the amount of times this situation has occurred is ridiculous (im Watto)
apparently graphic design and web development are throwaway skills

A good idea re. graphic design is just sending an email with a bit of work directly to a publishing house. They need it desperately but don't have an 'educated' (lack of a better word) stance of where to source it from so they either just randomnly go with freelancers that they know personally or they settle with someone that just works/don't make a fuzz.
Just think of how shit most covers are on books/lps/cds.
They will go a long way if they are presented with something different but rarely get the chance.

Never sell yourself short, if you have to loose business for not wanting to create a logo for £25, fuck it, let them get the 2bit template junkie with his stock grunge FX library to do it.

Same for any artistic medium, TBH.
More people should apply this logic to DJing as well.

However all of us creative stnuc. Should have part time jobs where we give a little back imo. Wipe a grandad because it is supposed to be fun to be creative and to have that show in your work, you need the bank of your back.
Not that I'm doing anything good tbf. Just an oppinion.

You can have as many clicks as you like, don't matter if they don't have ads on their page. They're publicly funded bro.
At least there aren't ads in the UK, not sure about when it's accessed abroad.
Ah ok. I thought you meant in the way that they could survive just on tv revenue today. I should've known as we have the same public tv/radio set up over here.
And actually all the programs on their pages are restricted to the uk, which is so silly. I think there are adds though.
i could think of nothing worse than just having to stand there trapped in consumerism while i was on lsd

at the end of it we'll all cheer,
then we'll pick sides again.
who's gonna be ants? who's gonna be humans?
and start again to see who'll get the furthest.
