Is Ableton better than FL studios for producing dubstep?
I have been producing music for the last couple of months on FL studios now. I use Massive ,fm8 ,Sytrus and a couple of other vsts. I have seen many people using Ableton live and the question that arises in my mind ‘Is Ableton live better than FL studios for creating dubstep?? What are the advantages and/or disadvantages of using Ableton live?

no daw is better than any other daw for producing anything.
different daws suit different workflows, at the end of the day its just different ways of doing the same thing.

Nothing depends on the DAW. Everything depends on you. How you can solve it.

FL Studio is the reason Dubstep is 140bpm.
Re: Is Ableton better than FL studios for producing dubstep?
That is a fact. And why 130 is taking over. You'd understand that joke if you updated.

Well, I said Fl studio was better, and my post was deleted. So I wanted to see what the right answer was.

yeah, I kind of see what you did there
Re: Is Ableton better than FL studios for producing dubstep?
Ableton is 3% better at dubstep overall, but it struggles with more melodic stuff. FL Studio has a clear 7% lead when it comes to melodic dubstep. Ableton allows you to fit in 22% beefier drums into your mix though, worth thinking about. They're both about even when it comes to bass, FL Studio allows for faster wobbles but Ableton has a bit more sub. Hope this helps!
