@SunkLow yes, and FFT morphing patch would be a royal pain in the ass - no doubt. I personally don't know enough about the intricacies of ~pfft at this time, and it comes down to, do I want to make music, or make things to make my music? it's a fine line. I've made patches for my monome, and experimented with varous delays, karplus-strong, additive synths, etc. in Max, but Reaktor is a bit quicker when it comes to finishing something cool fast (compared to Max anyway)
Lately what I'll do is make abstractions, so I have modules I can just piece together. Similar to coding, It's nice to have a black box that just does what it says on the tin, ya know?
I'll have to dig around for the razor patch. I'm not sure about sharing it tho - since it's a paid synth, any mods I make to it, might still fall under their redistribution agreement. I could open up Reaktor and tell peeps how to do it - if I remember it's not that hard - you don't even really need to dig deep. I'll add it to my list of things to do!
One could, if they were so inclined, build a synth in reaktor that allowed for additive resynthesis, with a massive number of partials, and the added ability to work as a vocoder - maybe i'll dig into that later. for now, my workflow, combined with multi-group AET morph tables in Kontakt works damn well for me.
