I've made almost 1 complete track using both with ease...although it took me a while to learn Renoise, but after the learning period, time passed just like using any other DAW for me while producing.

FYI I've used FL studio/Abelton before and no I'm not new to producing, been doing in the past 4 years (hobbyist) I'm on a budget now and I know they're both good for budget but still right now I've got the budget to buy either one and as I've said above they both are great for me. So I'm confused!

Is there any one here producing electronic/dubstep-ish music - having tried/fully tested both Reaper and Renoise for a long time and tell me if you were in my place what you would choose to buy now and why?
Oh yes! I've read else where that the combination of Reaper and Renoise works ++++ for producing
so yeah eventually in time, I will purchase the other one and settle making these my final setup(choice of DAW's) so for now again...which should I buy first? - enough to keep me busy making couple of 'dubsteppy'

tracks before I + the other one)?

I know reaper is just in their early stages even thought it can do just about anything now BUT no offense to any users (or some may even support my fact) the native effects vst's 'looks' bullocks! just sliders on a window...but the output it does is what's supposed to count and it does it amazingly

PLUS I found it really helps to 'make music' with just sound instead of looks (all that wave forms in audio clips and you know what midi notes your MIDI clip is playing cause you wrote it!!!

but you should try before commenting on other DAW's and again the looks is better then Reaper at-least that's what I can say from experience. only Reaper can 'do' stuff you want and not give a s@#t about the looks

)... (first) just make the arrangements on the tracker then it becomes less like sequencers after that, you can think of it more like clips that can be played alongside other clips while recording + its like session view in Ableton live in other words (can also be used to make songs live etc. for those who want to do stuff like this, that is) which is currently not there - or maybe I some how missed finding it in Reaper

can you please tell me if they announced/planned on adding this feature on Reaper 5?, I've checked everywhere on their forum's and I don't want to make a new account at there's just to ask one question and never coming back

. I replied aiming for those who don't count it as a regular or just simply exclude it as a music producing software just because of its tracker view as everyone's on step-sequencers these days. So again I apologize.
