It's not shite and it's not brilliant.

About as entertaining as one of those glossy car ads only the product is George Clooney's smugness, Sandra Bullock's hyperventilating and the film makers disregard/lack of understanding of physics.

Barely even a film. Pissed if you paid money to see that

5/10

Three points for the visuals, two for the time spent with my dad.

Exactly.

I would also like to add that I can't stand Sandra Bullock so that may have skewed my opinion somewhat.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.
So good! Im such a fucking kid when it comes to animation but this is SO GOOD. I have no idea why Dispicable me is so well liked when they have films like this. 1 is probably one of my top five fave animated films and its also amazing if you are feeling abit shit. Steve the monkey is the greatest.

The Jurrasic park style reveal about 40mins in is too good, also that they carry on jokes from the first one like this dude with a beard who just shows up at "heartfelt" moments, just to stand around and stare at the viewers and make the main characters feel akward

See its kind of worrying because I cracked the fuck up at the "leek in the boat!" bit, way more than any grown man should. So many little bits just had me laughing so hard. Live Corp

Oscar announcement right now. If Phoenix isn't in the best actor category I'm bombing the academy

Edit: So obviously the academy is still butthurt about his comments from 2 years ago. This is ridiculous. American Rustle getting a gorillion nominations, come on it wasn't even that good !

The following films were boring..

Gravity
Out of the furnace
Wolf of Wall Street

Fuck me did wolf of Wall Street go on for too long! 2 and a half hours of Leonardo and that fat fuck Jonah hill just shouting at the camera about how rich they are

People that say awards are silly I suspect have probably not won awards.

Being recognised by someone as being one the best in your craft is sick.

Don't have to pay attention to it, sure there's plenty of independent film awards too. Gotta say, if I was involved in films and I won an oscar, I'd be buzzing, guess most people would too.
