holding out for a hero would lend itself well to a juke remix.

i use SHIFT

it's babylon cos it makes it very easy to write boring arrangements

+ it's limited to 8ths or 16ths or something

You're limited to 8ths or 16ths. Double or quadruple your tempo, and change your beats per bar in upper left.

Or, where you need it, when you want to 32nd or 24 or whatever, send that channel to piano roll in that instance, for that pattern.

But yes, a step seq IS for grid, by nature. Shift does wonders for me. AND I don't always use the step. Sometimes.

Just watched Lone Survivor yesterday. I was expecting a realistic war movie but it leaned (a lot) towards Die-Hard styled action with nearly-invincible good guy characters screaming MUH AMERICA gunning down insurgent baddies with only one to two shots while the baddies themselves can't even kill them with thousands of bullets and quite a few rockets fired towards their direction. After all, it was based off a book from the guy who witnessed and experienced the events himself, so I wasn't expecting cool-guys-dont-look-at-explosions bullet dodging gunfights.

But what really brings in the laughs is the pro-American no matter what people getting butthurt over honest criticisms of the movie, claiming its over-the-top nonsense and altering of facts (including the fact that their wasn't an intense gunfight with many insurgents including Shah, the main target who actually died 3 years later, dying in the intense rescue scene at the end, that even the Rangers who rescued him had tea with the villagers) makes them anti-American and turrists.

This reminds me. Years ago in a 90 minute set I played 6 different remixes of 'Eye For An Eye':
- both Meat Katie remixes
- Swain & Snell remix (a personal favourite :6: though the Josh Homme & Alain Johannes remix that came out later was the best.)
- Tyrant remix
- 2 Sinners remix
- Have You Passed Through This Night (which amounts to an UNKLE remix)

The reaction to the twin male toilets installed for the Russian Olympics has been brilliant.

The single toilet roll dispenser is what unnerved me. Imagine getting through your third rip of paper and there's still a bit of brown coming back... "More? Did you actually push anything out or are you trying to wipe an entire turd onto tissue paper 1g at a time?"

Then he leaves and you're caught waddling over by the next occupant.

Only bad things.
