Best SMALL and FREE VSTs/VSTis?
Sorry if this has been done to death, but what are your most used free and SMALL VSTs/VSTis?
Currently travelling so have no space on my laptop for anything too big but I've got the itch to make some tunes.

Thanks for the suggestions, had a browse of that kvr site, some good stuff. Only one I've played with so far is far synth1, getting some nice sounds already highly recommended.

Synths:
DUNE BE edition (i use in every track)
Helix beta (a lot like z3ta+ best for supersaws, leads, pads)
Firebird (although its been mentioned)
Charlatan (only VA you'll need)
FX:
MFreeEffectsBundle
Satson CM
Camelcrusher
Loudmax (easy to use limiter, transparent and low cpu)
Limiter6 (only cpu heavy one iv mentioned but super transparent for loudness)
Iv pretty much tried most plugins over the years & these are really top notch.

Charlatan only has square and triangle waves on osc 1, and only a triangle and square lfo. Just find it really limited. Dope little synth, but definitely not the only va I need.sunny_b_uk wrote:Charlatan (only VA you'll need)
Don't know if I mentioned it, but this is a cool little vst synth, with a pretty dope distortion mode:
