FSOL - Papua New Guinea Remix Parts / Stems?

Post by actraiser » Thu Jan 23, 2014 1:40 pm

Hi guys.

I am considering doing a remix of Future Sound of London's classic tune, Papua New Guinea.. one of my all time favourites.

Nu:Tone and High Contrast have already done excellent d&b remixes, so I am considering doing something different.. maybe a musical dubstep tune or even a bass heavy Trap style thing at 110bpm. Guess I will just play around and see what sticks.

If anyone could assist me in locating the samples in high quality, I would appreciate it. I remember having a copy of Future Music (I think) magazine, that gave the stems away for a remix competition, but I have long since lost all my old music mags and cover cd / dvds.

Contact me if you can help! Anyone who gets me the stems gets a free copy of the finished remix ;)

Thanks :4:

i had the computer music samples and they sounded like copies as i recall.
they definitely weren't the full stems at any rate.

the main samples are off actual tunes anyway...

add some synth arps and segull samples and you're away, oh and the piano of course.

I would love to have the stems for 'Everyone In The World Is Doing Something Without Me' from their Dead Cities album. I love that track.
