We had a corporate training course this morning and some bloke was telling us a few stories about Wonga's debt collection practices... next level shit. Apparently banks are constantly playing catch up with spotting their dodgy transactions because every time they try to forcibly take a full loan balance (automatically due to a single missed payment normally, apparently :O ) they do it from a brand new company name... apparently they've got untold companies registered because they know banks will try to protect their customers from being fucked over.

I didn't realise quite how much information you have to give them to get your loan... basically they get enough so that they can just log into your account and do a transfer rather than going through Direct Debit.
