Yeah, it actually turned out to be pretty fun. I should probably do it more often, it's a much cheaper (and potentially healthier) alternative to eating out all the time.

Chocolate cake sounds like the one, I think I have a project for the weekend!

My secret weapon is a slug of coffee into the mixture. I don't even drink coffee, but it makes chocolate cake immense.

Swear I'm super attuned to the taste of coffee. Can't stand the taste or smell (#UnpopularOpinions), not that long ago my dad made some chocolate cake and put a tiny bit of coffee in. Didn't mention it, had one bit, I was like "this has got coffee in it, hasn't it?", couldn't eat another bite after that.

Usually agree (apart from the smell... the smell can stay), but something happens after you bake it with a fuck load of chocolate for 90 minutes. Gives the cake a mysterious edge.

Actually I was the one that told the boss that noxious fumes are dangerous for us in an enclosed office.
I even suggested he send us all home.

We had a power outage in the plant last year and they made us take half a leave day for it.
