Find it hard to complete your tracks?

Post by BassGorilla » Mon Jan 27, 2014 10:01 pm

Why do you find it difficult to complete your tracks? What can you do to improve in this area?

Here are four easy tips that should help you make the most of your time and come up with a ton of new musical ideas, without too much brain-strain.

If you have any other ideas, leave a comment at the bottom of the post.

last night the site worked well and it was a very good read indeed about managing your work time effeciently and great ideas about getting in different workflows even when you are not in such a creative form....

It's more to do with delivery.

Post the tips in the forum with a link back saying "I write more on my blog @...." rather than just teasing people with a title then a link so he gets his click ratio up for Google AdSense so he gets a quick buck from your clicks and views. Remember, if something is free, you're the product being sold.

This forum, and every forum, works by having people post good content. If every post simply became to a link to another site like this one the forum would die pretty quickly.

TL;DR: Don't be a scumbag for a quick buck & click rate - post tips and share in one central location: The Forum!

This is going to sound dickish no matter what, but honestly are these tips anything but the same generic crap everyone with a production blog posts about schedules, time management, deadlines etc? I really feel like this crap just gets copy and pasted over and over and the bedroom producer circle jerk continues. smileyface

EDIT: I'm not saying these things aren't true, but just repeating the same generic stuff over and over...meh...give us something fresh and that isnt cheap shot marketing.

Yeah it's the same old shit, scraped from other identical articles, spun a little bit for different wording, and reposted. It'd be different if it was actually something novel or useful. Or if the guy actually participated in the forum instead of trying to poach readers from DSF. If you wanna post about a topic during a discussion and then link back to an article you wrote where you go more in depth about what you're talking about, that's fine. But starting threads with the same old marketing tricks and linking straight to your blog, das sum ole buushit.

Also if I have any other ideas, I'm gonna comment on this fucking forum not on your blog.
