listening to newstep for the first time in ages. 6306

also doing some cleaning, stacking up clothes i don't need so i can donate them or smth etc. and i keep finding shit (gifts, drawings etc) that brings back memories; good and bad. feels weird.

I've just had my farewell lunch at work.
Although I'm happy to be starting a new job I will most certainly miss all the ppl I have worked with in the last 5 years.

Pornography is imo the best The Cure lp, following with Disintegration and Seventeen seconds.

Wire's Pink Flag is indeed a very good post-punk lp. But Television's Marquee Moon and Unknown Pleasures are better.

No dude.
You consoled me about my nemesis that got fired and the rest of the plebs that work here.
I might bitch about the office staff sometimes but in general they are a great bunch of ppl.
Some useless fuckwits but not bad ppl.

5 yrs is a long time to see ppl everyday + overtime.
It's understandable that I'll miss some of them a bit.
The job however I'm not going to miss.
Onward and upward.

They made food for me.

Chicken briyani with long grain basmati.
Tomato, onion & chilli salad and an awesome tangy pasta salad.

And I got a gift voucher

I got a bottle of Jack Daniels and £15 to "buy a record" which was way more than "fuck all" like I was expecting

It was abit weird, I dont think Miss them is the right word but the people I worked with were really sound. If my new people are anything like the old then I will be pretty happy.
