Do white labels still get pressed?

perhaps im missing things but i swear more recent releases barely get white labels. any reason for this?

Think he means TP's/Whitelables of forthcomming releases. I know tectonic still do them. From what i've picked up. Most of the TP's circulate between Dj's/Producers only... not like the ol days innit

I miss the writeup sheets that would usually come with whitelables, they were usually fun to read :)

Wen refix ain't even a proper white, dizzee gave them permission. Considered returning it when I found it wasn't that illegal :lol:

white label promos used to get pressed in substantial numbers to determine what the demand was for a tune to be able to tell what kind of quantities to do the actual press in.
It's become a waste of time and money as full presses are rarely above 500 these days
