what do you guys think is an appropriate temperature setting for the winter for people who aren't trying to save money (all the google results are about how to maximize temp while saving money)? It's been like 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit here lately but there have been a few days where it even dipped near zero maybe into the negs.

For the non-US ppl, 10-20 Farenheit is about -12 to -6 Celsius.

I set mine to 72.

aight well, reason i asked is cause i would like it at 70 ideally and that's where i usually put it. 70-73 is comfortable to me during the winter. but my roommates want to put it at 60 which is a bit rediculous imo. might have to insist on 80 so that we can settle at 70.

i think it has something to do with the fact that they're all athletes...

Eski/eskibeat is a certain style, not subgenre, of grime pioneered and named by wiley AKA eskiboy.

The foundational eski tunes are the Ice Rink and Eskimo riddims by Wiley. Basically kinda unstable-sounding high pitched synths plucking about that sound detuned and weird.

Wonky was a style that was big for a while in 2008/10. Kinda similar to eski in that its got unstable-sounding, off-beat, detuned, overwhelming synths and shit, but it's not necessarily grime, getme.

Zomby - Diamonds & Pears is the best example I can think of.

a lot of things were called wonky, even the purple sound.

wonky is more hip hop influenced tho (or just fucked up hip hop at times) as a scene or style or w/e, at least imo

when Akkord were on boiler room #anonymous #unknownartist it was synkro and indigo. I know the promo pictures you're on about, dunno if it started as 4 bods, but I've seen pics since where it's just synkro & indigo. plus it's a manchester thing anyway, I think, and objekt isn't manchester based. Maybe if objekt was in akkord, they'd make something interesting ennit.

Think people just objekt is in akkord because they both have a K in their name.
