Quit trying to monetize a song/track, espeically one you dont own.

Just give the stuff away for email address and build your network. You could easily clear way more cash from having a network and playing out live than trying to cash in on a remix that you cant even clear on youtube :h: .

The whole "selling" tunes/records is really 90's IMHO, ppl are making the money on shows/festivals not tunes/albums. In fact some artist who sell their tunes, end up leaking a decent copy so atleast their stuff is being presented in the best light, even when its d/l via torrents and such.

Completely agree with the above - I'd rather give away a tune and have it played out by big names as a result rather than trying to hock that tune to people; unless you're "big" big or you've got a hardcore fan base you can call out to, you won't be making more than £10 on a release across it's lifetime probs.
