Denon DN-X120 mixer - Yay or Nay

Post by wilson » Tue Feb 04, 2014 10:02 am

All I'm after is a cheap, solid mixer with good eq and sound quality for recording, no frills. This seems to be a good shout and at around £200 won't break the bank. The compact size is a plus also.

I've read a fair few positive reviews but just wanted to see if anyone here had experience using one. Sorry if there's a mixers thread or something I haven't been in this sub very often.
Ah, also I'm gonna need an external soundcard to get audio into my macbook aren't I?

I have a DN-X600, which isnt the same model, but looks like it uses some of the same knobs and faders, I really like it, very well built, sounds great, no complaints here.

Xone 22, if you don't need more than two channels.

For a cheap mixer you're unlikely to find anything with as good sound quality as this. Full kill eq too.

Exactly. Only drawback is the noisey headphone output, might be different per make though.
