but why would you use that terminology in the first place? when most people say "gay" or "black guy" they don't think n***** or f*****. You evidently do. Do you not feel that is racist/homophobic? The fact that you feel the need to use the word with full stops, making more work for yourself shows you don't even want to write the non-offensive versions of the words you use.

because it's a cultural thing. It's a totally different context as it's black people re-appropriating the word. It came from being used as a derogatory term so saying it as a white person it's assumed to be racist.
