List of defects is too long to be written here.
can say only that you must have more and more practice.

You got some very sweet melodies going on there. I feel that there are two intros and teh second one (from ca 1.00-2:00) doesn't really fit in my opinion, perhaps you could try to emit that part and see (hear) what happens, if it fits together better. Especially since the melody from the piano in the first intro reappears in the end of the drop (wich is nice).
I think the wobble is a little bit obnoxious, and it doesnt have to be present all the time. Rather use it as a little spice now and then and leave some room in between. Since this is a chilled tune I think that the melodi of the piano/lead synth and the ambience/laid back feeling is the more important features, and the wobble is there more as a reminder that we are still in dubstep territory, but right now we are chilling...
I hope i make sence... And thats my two cents of what I thought of while listening...

I'll take that into serious consideration. It's 5:53am here so I can't exactly comprehend your feedback entirely xD

Very useful feedback, indeed. Can you at least give some pointers?poquepoque wrote:List of defects is too long to be written here.

I love experiments. But you experiment with arrangement is crap.Russkiy wrote:Very useful feedback, indeed. Can you at least give some pointers?poquepoque wrote:List of defects is too long to be written here.

There is no any energy(i understand that genre is chillout blahblahblah), but track isnt catchy.
If you make chillout song you must pay particular attention to atmoshpere. There is no any ambience, noises, your reverb sounds shitty.
Instruments sounds plastic: seems you chosen random preset on your *favorite_synth* and dont impose any effects on it.
Compressor on master ruined all of dynamics.
Only harmony in song is well done.

I do agree with what was said about the 2 intros thing. maybe take out the second part that starts at around 1:16 so it doesnt drag on and create confusion about where the track is going. As for the wobbles I personally kinda liked them, it just seemed like you needed to spend some more time making them fit rhythmically into the pattern. And as said before maybe space out the wobbles a little bit more and use some other morphing bass sounds in between.
