Agree wit the above said, the bongos feel a bit weird, the rhytm in them is nice though but maybe with different sounds, something "ethnic" like darbuka or tablas but not so luoud/high up in the mix...
Second section with the violin and the plucked instrument (qanun?) is really nice and a positive surprise when it sets in. But in the end of that section, could the violin return, just to balance it a little?
Anyway, liked it a lot ad I'm goin to check out youre soundcloud for more ;)

Some really nice elements in this, I can see why you labelled it as "ethnic". The eerie kinda vocals in this add a nice touch man. I think like stated above the bongos are a bit high in the mix though. The only thing I don't really like and it may just be my ears, is that the bass sounds off key to the strings etc? Could just be me. Apart from that I look forward to hearing the finished track.

Hey man good start :) I think you need to be a bit more adventurous with your bassline in the way it moves, at the moment its the same oscillation regardless of pitch and it doesn't surprise or move me apart from its bassweight. I really like the melody elements, but that bongo roll (while sounding good) needs to be changed up, and needs to move throughout the song. A few more mid-bass elements (no sub) could help your cause too. Otherwise I like where you're going with it.
