Been working on this song for a while and just need a second set of ears for critiquing. This is my first master of the "finished version", but I want someone who hasn't been listening to it for multiple hours.

Re: Need some ears!
I'm on a laptop so the speakers aren't great; take what I say with a grain of salt.
Cool song, very creative. I really like the metallic and drip basses combined together. As far as mixing goes, your drums are being lost in the mix. its looking like your bass is peaking at a higher DB than your kick drum in the drops too. I'd suggest bringing the kicks up and EQ them out if needed. the other basses seem to be sitting really nicely with each other though! good job!

Ok thanks, when looking at a spectrum do you want your sub bass peaking around the same spot as where your kick drum hits (in general)?NorthernNoize wrote:I'm on a laptop so the speakers aren't great; take what I say with a grain of salt.
