I do think the length of the sketches has a lot to do with it for me. I mean I laugh a couple times and then the same joke's still being played out for a few minutes longer, it's like alright it's done, it stopped being funny

My favourite sketch show is probably The Fast Show so that'll have a lot to do with it! Chewin' the Fat as well, which besides a few was fairly fast paced.

The want for children is the result of the will buried deep in our subconscious that considers it necessary to continue our species. If we could manage to consider the concept of procreation without this 'will' clouding our judgement then no children would be made.

Personally, and it's not directly because of just that quote there M8son, but when some authority says that something is buried deep in our subconcious, I tend to believe it's because it's difficult to prove empirically or that it's simply a strawman kind of notion.

Instinctively, or inherently by instinct - I can agree with most of the time.
