Fuckin hit the jackpot with my oral exam today. Basically we're given a long list of short stories, a book, and a bunch of poems to read up on and then at the exam you're given one poem and one of the books and you have to talk about em for 20 mins. I'd practiced so shoddily, only looked at a single poem when we were doing it at school but really understood that one, + finished reading one of the two books, Peer Gynt (I had read about 70% of the other one about a year ago, but not practiced for this exam with it), at 9:15AM this morning. So when I'm at the exam I get the poem I'd already nailed at school + Peer Gynt. Killed that shit dead. Was mad stressed this morning now I'm relieved as fuck. Have one more exam in English lit on Thursday, can't rely on the same luck so better read the fuck up lol.

I've heard that music so much in ironic contexts, adverts etc that I can't enjoy it anymore. It's like enjoying the McDonald's jingle or something.

Schoolboy Q album currently downloading to my phone. Gonna give it a listen on the boat home.... fairly lukewarm reactions from what I've seen so far but I fucking love me some Q, so I'm hyped.

its genetically true, the when you're a certain ethnicity anything you create will have ethnic vibrations in it, which will be picked up by other people of the same ethnicity. It's a trait we developed in caveman times when the only music was banging dinosaur bones on walls, which all sounds the same in the normal way, to identify members of your own tribe.

It's also why i can sense who here is a fassy and whos a badman
