Wow! That's a crazy story!

First off, never in a million years should you feel scared to say something like that on this forum, most of us will never consider that whining because that is a serious issue potentially regarding the lack of character of one of the most prominent labels in dubstep history.

Data does sound like an immense prick, do you guys still stay in contact? You should beat the fuck out of him. Honestly I just purchased TEMPA044 and I can't say enough how much I'm enjoying it, for some reason it completely slipped by me. I hope to see a lot more stuff from you on this tip. Never get discouraged from making music due to exterior incidents and the nefarious ways of others, music is the cure for those things and many times people don't want to see you succeed. That said, keep on making tunes, great tunes. With that comes the respect and love of you and your tunes from listeners like us here on the forum. Keep it up man, be strong, and pump out the vibes.

PS. I just edited the the artist tag in my iTunes for the tune 'Leaves' to say only 'Cell' instead of 'Data & Cell'.

I agree mate and I shouldn't have let it get me down but I really didn't know what to do... I trusted the label and Data , which was my only mistake. I certainly didn't deserve getting completely ripped off. . .

(fyi 'Leaves' was a joint effort )

Everytime I have brought up this stuff with Data he just insulted me. I have emails saved on Facebook where he admits in writing that he refuses to share any money from our records because I had started asking him why he had ripped me off on the other tracks we made like The Causeway and Blowpipe, he even admits in the emails to intentionally removing my name from them. He says "You cannot prove anything...".

Whole thing made me think "what is the point???" Gutted my mate back stabbed me and everyone was praising him for our work. I had other hectic stuff going on too in my life to deal with then, like fighting cancer. I've had my head down and been concentrating on getting better. But now Im BACK!!!!!!!!
Gonna make some beats...

mate, as much as I respect you for writing music (and decent music, I might add), going on about your personal matters in a forum doesn't exactly play into your favour. you got fucked over by one of your mates, I'm sorry to hear that but this shit happens on a regular basis. it isn't funny, it isn't an enjoyable experience, but at least you'll never gonna sign a tune without proper paperwork again. this isn't the world against you, this is you against your own naivety and frustration.
