ADDISON GROOVE

Addison Groove has been progressing at breakneck speed since leaving his former alias ‘Headhunter’. His unique production style ‘harnesses the schizoid bounce of Chicago juke, the utilitarian drive of techno and the concave sub weight of dubstep into an area both instantly recognisable and entirely his own’.
It’s hard to think of someone better to headline at a Get Born night and we are insanely excited to see what Addison Groove has in store for us.

BOK BOK

Bok Bok aka Alex Sushon is a London based DJ, producer, remixer and director of the incendiary Night Slugs record label. Few producers command as bold a presence as Bok Bok and his music seems so futuristic in it’s approach, that is was probably blasting from UFO’s whilst they built the pyramids.

WEN

Wen’s ability to forge unique, bass heavy compositions is unparalleled. He creates an immediately identifiable sound that is helping to push the underground music scene. Gutsy percussion and ‘bass gravitating, broken beats’ are Wens hallmarks.

March will mark the release of his first full length album ‘Signals’;

‘Signals’ is set to cement his reputation as one of the country’s most compelling young talents, with him having pushed his production levels through the roof; every beat hits harder, tighter and lower, and it features an early contender for the rowdiest track of 2014, the ridiculously gully Riko Dan collab, ‘Play Your Corner’, that is already out there damaging soundsystems.

Fresh music is what we are about at Get Born, and that is exactly what Wen will be delivering, it’s gonna be weighty.

After playing at the first Get Born it’s only fitting that we bring back one of Bristol’s best kept secrets for our birthday event. This last year has been a fruitful one for Jack, celebrating successes of his club night ‘4 seasons’ and the forthcoming release of the ‘Hold Up’ EP with Fortay it will be interesting to see what he pulls out of the bag on March 22nd!
