Yeah, split it up. And Both Of Your Tracks Are Not Working. :(

Gotta run, so feed back later! :)

And sorry for the delay - was forcibly removed from the studio yesterday.

Ask some of the private people, like Jizzy, I've never seen a public track from that guy.

i dont mind to be it like public but its like haha most of the tunes arent this moguri idm vibe so its kinda distracting lol but whatever
as read in another thread dont put to much compressors(salt) in your food (music) i say put 100 kilos of salt in your tunes and make the listener eat it until he/she thinks its sugar

lol i just dnt like constructive feedback on finished tunes, its like if ive put it out theres not much i can do other than take it down and then reupload it since i dont have a pro account D: currently listenin to ur tunes btw :)
actually feel bad giving feedback on public tunes so i tend to avoid it but for tuna i guess its cool

yeah that the only thing i really wanna have this reupload thingy all this 20 people in wladiwostok listened to your tune haha i dunno 8) dont need it

honestly man if people want feedback give it to them. first couple of years i was so afraid to get negative or like constructive feedback but in the end its still you who decides waht you wanna do with the song and i rather have 5 opinions than jsut my own stubborn selfish me

It just gets worse, imo, as they move through 2.

I personally want to know who is listening to my music. I need their home address, so I can kick their door down and have a word.

haha i dunno everything we do is so subjective and basically if you please everybody abit you make staright max martin pop which is great and even harder but i dunno if that should be the goal for everybody
so if sb says you suck take it and grow on it make it even worse in the persons opinion so sb totally dif will love it for the same reasons the first one hated it

Psychs: love the sub man. think the hihats could probably be a touch louder. I would maybe make some changes to that snappy perc you're using as a snare. Maybe add some reverb, layer another sample to make it sound fatter, idk. And you could change the way it sounds at different points throughout the song.

Spence (82): awesome vocals man. i would maybe add a little more lowpass to that mid-bass. drums and rhythm sound great.

Spence (Judges): i like the leads/arps and the melodies. i think the kick & snare could be a bit louder. vocals work really well as usual m8 :Q:

MEIGHTOHEIGHTSON: Is that ur voice bro? that bass is pretty dope, and the melodies are nice. that stringy patch is pretty sick. also that whistly/wobbly thing. i agree with nwj, i would do some filtering on the vocals.

kaili: sexy tune, feelin the ethnic vibes. i'm not sure that dubby delayed thing really fits with the vibe. at 3:13 i was really expecting it to just drop with a lot of energy. i think the second drop could use some more energy somehow. like really spice things up. maybe change to 170, or add lots of new drums. arpeggiate that melody. just some ideas. really sick tune though.

jalwaysnay: cool tune m8. very abstract. i agree with kaili, thicken up the snare a bit so it has more presence imo. i feel like the bass could benefit from some changes throughout the song. just spicing it up here and there in different ways - filter movement, cut the notes in half and then double them, change the rhythm in a subtle way - idk, up to you.

cheers dubunked youre probably right about that dub sound haha i was just ripping off clearlight coz he always uses that, was pretty inspired by him on this tune, might take it out tho.. deffo right bout second drop energy, will probably try arps, but i probs will keep the 3:13 part coz its kinda purposefully surprising ^^

Hmm, not sure why it's not working. Unless I forgot to share the private link which I thought for sure I did. Unfortunately I'm at work right now and I'm posting this on my phone. I'll just go ahead and make it public. Once I get home I'll be able to actually listen to everything.

I made the track public, but I think the embed is still going to show up as unavailable. If you click the link to the song you should be able to listen to it on soundcloud.

So I had a few minutes at work. I'm using a pair of Razer hammerheads hear which aren't exactly the greatest for bass but I'll make it work.

DrPsych - This track is great. I'm a big fan of minimal music and this is spot on. I didn't find it boring at any point which is one of the biggest issues minimal music has. Aside from a little volume tweaking on the percussion I thought they were great. Could maybe use a little more reverb maybe. Although that can be a bit tricky cause more reverb could ruin the atmosphere you've already created. I think it could use a little bit more in the mid range. You could probably fill this whole thing out by simply layering your pad with a lower octave version of it. Something that simple might go a long way.

I think the only part of this track I'm a little put off by is the end. The ending is a little strange. It seems like you're building to something, but then it just ends. It would make sense if this was breaking out of the drop but it's not. If this is just a work in progress then you can obviously just disregard this.

BudSpencertron - The first track is really good. Loving the pads. The bass is fits perfectly. I really like the vocals. That's always been a real struggle for me. Trying to make vocals work. It's a work in progress so it's hard to really judge it fully. I would actually suggest that during the inversion of your bass line, I would also invert the pad progression. This would help with the pad sound from becoming stale throughout the track. You might also consider cutting the intro short for a track like this.

the second track is perfect. I don't know what you could really change. The rhythm is spot on. The vocals, again, are great. I like the bass. Not too broey sounding while also having really good energy.

The first breakdown I think would sound great with a string of some kind. A low sounding string. Something to compliment the melody that plays through this part. You kind of changed up the ending a bit, but just as an experiment you could try taking the LFO off the bass completely. Just a couple thoughts. Neither of these I think are needed but it's something I would experiment with at some point just to see how it would change things.

Alright. My break is over. I'll come back to this if I get some more free time at work. If not the rest will have to wait till I get home.

Hey ch'all, just putting this out there, just a preference for myself, but if you could, I'd appreciate feedback on sc on the tracks themselves rather than here in the thread. People have said stuff about this sound or that sound, and I don't know wtf they're talking about! Would be easier for me to digest if posted there on the sound in sound cloud, but if it is easier for you to do it in the thread, that's all good too.
