This month, Mass brings you an eclectic, all-American lineup of bass music representing two of the most respected up-and-coming labels in US bass.
Fresh off a long stint in Europe where he played some of the biggest bass parties on planet Earth, and the release of the critically acclaimed "Biodigital Jazz" EP, we're bringing Boston, Massachusetts' own Prism for his first show in Los Angeles. Prism's knack for quality sampling and superior bass design creates a perfect blend of heavy and ambient that's had dance floors moving around the world.
Subtle Mind, a duo with a representative on each side of California, seemed to come out of nowhere when their "Gravitate" EP hit the shelves, but their status as one of the best up-and-coming dubstep production duos in the US was cemented soon after. "Gravitate" earned critical acclaim, and their bi-weekly show on Sub.FM has given their tunes a worldwide audience.
Coming to you straight from Los Angeles, Wulf will be representing milc, an LA-based label that has members based all over the world. Wulf has released tunes at a tireless pace. His deep, heavy bass and relentless stabs have earned him a worldwide fan base, including dubstep legends Skream and Benga, who played his music on their BBC Radio show.
