Modus mag/an interview I did

Post by macc » Wed Dec 15, 2010 12:36 pm

Hello all,

So, a chap you might know round these parts - Alex / DFRNT - has been putting together a magazine called Modus for some time now. It's focussed on dubstep, dub-techno and related genres, but it's a little different to other mags. It's not just blowing smoke up people's arses - there's a lot of very useful info in there too. I did an interview on my work (sadly the pics are out of date as I changed to PMC IB2S right after I took them!), and there's a lot in that interview that doesn't really get covered on here - a bit less technical but still quite useful for people on here.

Also, there's a very well thought out section on sending 'dubs' to people. That's got a ton of information that would probably be much more useful than my guff. Wide-ranging, in-depth and actually useful info on getting yourself (and your music) out there.

You can get it as a pdf download or as a high-quality printed magazine. It's only £1.50 for the pdf, well worth it.

This was waiting for me this morning when I got into work. One of the best magazines I've ever read.

If you haven't ordered this, can't recommend it enough.

Was there ever a second issue of this? Just found my copy of the original, never heard anything more about it though. Great fucking magazine still :Q:
