Hysteria (E8)
Power Lunches (E8)

give them a bell, silver bullet might be able to sort you out a really good deal. had a few mates put on nights there.

Good venue, horrible management, avoid at all costs, they try and rip you off every way possible and will make it near impossible to run things on the night.

I have a mate at Arch 635 that has opened up a few slots for people to play at, they're free though if you wanna PM me about what you have planned.

I actually might be starting a resident night there in a couple weeks, just need the peez to setup something decent. If you're just looking to play out then I can see about putting you on.

That's unfortunate, an old promotion I used to play for recently started using them. Not spoken to the lads about how their first party went there.

Great venue though, they still got the table football at the front?

Awww :(

Once got served mojitos in there made with vodka. Complained to the bar manager, who yelled at the guy who had made the mistake, then made us another two mojitos correctly with rum for free. We were also allowed to keep the original vodka ones. Was during a 2-for-£5 promotion, so we ended up with four strong drinks for a fiver.

Random south London drinking tales.

i would not recommend the silver bullet at all. i live 10 minutes away and its the sort of venue all my mates will refuse to go to regardless of what night is put on. people wont go purely on the basis of the night being in the silver bullet

tright opposite finsbury park station. its changed ownership a lot over the last decade, iit used to be a proper dive bar called the gas light. but its got a bad reputation as just being a shit club. when we were 16 we used to go there because it was the only place in finsbury park open late that would let us in with no id. its usually half empty, you get very weird people wandering in as well. its just one of those clubs that people won't go to and that has a reputation for being a bit crap. it might actually be an alright venue now, but it will be hard to persuade people to go

It may depend whos there on the night or something, but i was down when a friend was organising a night and the manager kept asking him for more money, even when the guy running it was djing....

I'm not from London so I can't help unfortunately, but I'd be down to play a set sometime if you want :D
Just started my own night in Amsterdam with some mates, we're having Pev, Wen, Logos and Mumdance over in 2 weeks

Nice. Best of luck, but with that line-up you can't fail!

Looks like Uprise Audio are having an album launch at the Silver Bullet in a few days, anyone thinking of going down? Can't be completely terrible if Seven's putting a night on there.

The Tuff Scout label do a monthly night at the Silver Bullet as well, maybe it has come on a bit from previous scabby days....
