That price is the NHS bill, and once you find NHS cannot help you, too slow/to incompetence etc, you have to go private, and then the bill for that.nowaysj wrote:This wisdom is lost on these young men. They're destroying their bodies, and are surprised, "I'm getting really bad hangovers," or, "I get a hangover while I'm drinking now." Haha, that is damage to your bodies lads. You think you'll have to pay the price later, much later. But you're already paying the price, and when you get the full bill, you're going to be rather surprised.nitz wrote:Health is wealth
Lad it up though.
The bill will come tho...

Who said we are not designed for this world - evoultion came from somewhere.m8son wrote:The root cause is existence in itself, living in a world for which we are not designed.nitz wrote:Always give outs pills but never me the root cause - cause of cause.
I think what you mean to say is we not designed for the western lifestyle. Fast food, no/not much labour work/ toxic fumes, dirty people who don't wash. We all need to go back and live the ghetto way. Local food, (including local made beer yes) hard work, seeing your family and friends in real life no via Facebook chat ( for mental health), some yoga/medication/god which ever. Living the "good life" - aristotle, or more morden john finnis

Re: On pills for life
no conspiracy theory - but sometimes I honestly think doctors hold back on what they really know because it may not have been sciecently proved and thus they will not give out information of something does not have 100% validity. If ask can i aid my XYC with add/remove or just watching what you eat and/or some herbs and mostly you'll get a straight no. That simply cannot be true. and i can't accept doctors are ignorance, they are some of the most talented people around. They they must be aware...

Re: On pills for life
From mental health specialists to doctors or GPs, I've hardly ever dealt with a doctor who was itching to prescribe me drugs. When I started therapy I was told they wanted to get to know me first before putting me on anything. The GP I went to since I was a little kid usually gave me tips on what I could do myself if I had a problem and a dermatologist I had to see once refused to prescribe me pills for something that would go away on its own.
I think there's a personal responsibility in finding yourself a good doctor. I've kicked a few to the curb. You don't go back to a restaurant that served you a bad meal and you don't get your car fixed by the same incompetent mechanic twice, so why continue to do business with the same terrible doctor?
It's harder to find a good doctor and get an appointment with them I suppose. But since it's for matters relating to your body and you only have one, I believe it's worth the effort.

That's not issue - finding a good, caring per say, doctor. You normally have to pay for such a service £100+ for a bupa doctor, I've been, but I tell you it's worth it. Good doctors are limited in NHS, in the stead of those with chronic conditions, whereas in the private section they are every wear because of the money, it's something elseGenevieve wrote:From mental health specialists to doctors or GPs, I've hardly ever dealt with a doctor who was itching to prescribe me drugs. jesus. that's rough man. that's really scary b2b can't drink or do drugs.
are you sure you really can't do anything though? it seems like a couple drinks is fine. maybe 1-3? not a lot but better than nothing...
although if ur doctor said literally zero, don't take my advice.
there's also this. ahem, agent.
