Good comics in the last few years?

Post by _v_ » Fri Mar 28, 2014 4:31 pm

I used to be big into comics, but sadly have been out of touch for years.

I love Alan Moore, 100 Bullets, Classic Batman, Frank miller, to give you an idea.

Has there been anything nearing this over the last few years?

I liked Fun Home by Alison Bechdel, used to collect graphic novels in high school but I'll sell them to buy vinyl

I don't know too much about comics but I heard about this thriller one called Sleeper, and the plot sounded pretty interesting. Anyone read it?

yes, ed brubaker is an amazing author. its well worth the read.

as far as new comics, mark millar is writing a new series called starlight that seems promising. also david lapham is beginning to write stray bullets again, which i highly highly recommend.

sex criminals and pretty deadly out from image is pretty solid. as far as mainstream books, hawkeye is damn good right now.
