i like their food too much to hate lol
yh their foods nice but 80% of chinese people i have encountered have no manners* like they don't say please or thank you, don't hold doors open for you, don't say thanks when you hold one open for them and are generally rude. Also out of all the races i have met at uni chinese people make the least effort to integrate with other students and just go around in groups of other chinese people.

when i say chinese people i mean people who have come straight from china to uni, i've met loads of cool chinese people who have lived here for a while.

*what we would consider manners
That's it, get it out of your system.

Racism feels good doesn't it?
I'm not sure if you are trolling but it isn't exactly racism, it's more of not liking the cultural difference.

its just cultural differences m8
Correct me if I'm wrong but, traditionally speaking, white people who are racist often feel the exact same way, and for the exact same reasons, about black people. The reason that's racist is because they are of a different race isn't it?
So while you would not be considered racist in this case, the same behaviour you are exhibiting could be considered racist if applied in a different context couldn't it?
For instance, Mason's post regarding what he considers to be chinese cultural ethics. Hating them, taking an attitude towards them before interacting with the individuals would be racist since they're of different races wouldn't it?

Also, on their decision not to integrate, they aren't really the only groups who do this tbf. Also, have you considered joining them? Maybe they're genuinely having a better time.
But perhaps more seriously, I think they do that because in many cases they're not that comfortable with speaking the English language and being able to express themselves fluently is of importance to them, so they choose to interact with people who understand the means with which they do so. It's like you, or anyone else, not wanting to spend large amounts of time with someone you fundamentally don't get along with, or feel quite able to be 'yourself' around. And think about it, if you were there, and there were other English speaking kids, wouldn't you do the same?

If so, have you not noticed how almost overwhelmingly grumpy it can be there?

Racism, amongst other things tbf, causes this.

I retract the part about it being more racist, in a lot of cases, the racisms manifest differently.
I've been living here for a month. Everyone is a tnuc but I assumed that was because they have to live in London not because of racism
You say that as if London's an inherently shit place to live.
But think about the kinds of things you hate about london, and you'll soon see that a lot of it boils down to human interaction.

Apart from the night life it kind of is. It's expensive, smells like shit, the water is horrible and everyone is impatient and rude.

Those aren't inherent caracteristics, those are all due to human interaction.
Does it really smell bad though? People have told me that, but I've never really noticed. Like rubbish trucks do, but the city itself?
If it does, I swear that New York, and parts of DC smell worse

it really doesn't smell bad..like maybe if you walk into an alley it will smell of urine yes but is that not universal...there's so much more to it than just people and clubs/bars doe, like record shops, museums parks all that shit
