Will Duncan - Worries (HEAVY EDM)

Post by Duncanbullet » Sat Apr 05, 2014 4:45 pm

ive been working on alot more big house edm compressing bass type stuff lately, heres my latest work.
couple things i noticed after posting to SC.
toms drums have to much sub bass (drowns out highs)
transitions are a bit sticky and not flowing
pre drop lead chords have too much air.
lead highs are little too prominent

other than those flaws can i get some feedback on the track about its overall sound and best and worst features??

Thanks!!

Hmm, I like the pluck lead you had going on in the beginning. I fully agree with your point about the highs being drowned out by the tom drums. Your leads seemed okay, but the thing you have playing with them at about 2:25 are off to me. Seems like that sound needs more character. Perhaps a unison filter for more voices? reverb? Also, I noticed that after your transitions when the main parts are playing you just have some chords and drums playing. I would suggest adding some subtle change ups in between, maybe a glitch shot or something. Other than that, nice work. Don't stop producing. You're well on your way (:

Also man, I would suggest posting feedback on other people's tracks here before expecting feedback on your stuff and not giving anything in return. All of your posts are just you wanting feedback on your tunes, which is fine, but we are a community! :w:
