Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
there's only really been kuedo and various versions of machine drum where it sounded like anything other than a tame reminder of jungle or dnb in that bpm range recently imo
the break work is generally worse and the bass sound is not exclusive, which it has been in similar genres before.
the only saving bit is that a few americans get a go now and thats probably just me taking a political stance and not so much a basis for progression or growth anyway because of the infrastructure/former scenes already extablished.,

you need to decide what you are critisizing m8son for, is it his taste or is it some notion of being some class or whatever

Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
i mean i can definitely appreciate the production value and see how people would like it, but i think it's just too quick for me, i just don't rate those high pitched kicks (toms?) that are in pretty much all footwork tunes.
also i don't like the repetitive vocals that are always in footwork tunes.
and yh when i hear it on nights out i dance and rate it but if it was a whole set of footwork i would get bored. addison groove only played a few of that kinda footwork tunes tho iirc

Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
m8son dislikes just as much as wolf does imo.
Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
probably not even 10% of the 600 juke tunes i have have high pitched toms

Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
it's hard to distinguish between future jungle, juke, footwork, trap and some 130 to the point of them not being actual distinct genres like the genres they take fromprobably not even 10% of the 600 juke tunes i have have high pitched toms
and its not up to the level of the inspiration, yet
