I'm nostalgic for March 2011
round the nadir of dubstep

Cyrus, MP, Garage Pressure playing main room @ Hermann's Bar, Sydney
to a small crowd of treads
visit the other room given over to bro
dj on CDs, two fellas watching and one guy brocking his brains out to imo crap

I understood that however popular it became,
bro would always be shit for the brain dead.

Jessie I appreciate the contributions but 26 Basslines etc isn't bro.

The point was post bad music you're nostalgic for.

Modestep is a great example. Horrible tunes but several of my friends rated that kind of shit so I heard it about.

The only brostep I rate is Farrah Abrams's discography

Completely disagree. 26 Basslines just uses similar-ish synth sounds to some brostep, but thats not all that makes brostep. It's got that sort of steady skanking groove that rolls on beat by beat. Just a matter of feel I suppose, but I could fit 26 basslines along some Mala tunes, but could never do the same with a chase & status tune or something
