Thankfully not much jumped out at me other than Jamie XX
I remember seeing MGMT like 5 years ago at T in the Park, they are a lot of fun.

MGMT's first album was awesome, but numbers two and three are a marked drop off in quality and a complete change in style (in the case of the third one) to the synth driven dreamy pop style melodies they gained recognition for.

Prefer the second album over the first TBH.

Are they the band that did the Carling advert with the starlings?

I can confirm they make passable adverts.

Ahh. There's about two years worth of NME bands that seem to merge into one smudge of lager swilling beigeness for me. I just call them all The Automatic.

I would've thought liking MGMT would have been a guilty pleasure on here

First album was wicked though, 2nd was average and I stopped paying attention. They have a third out?

Right, the elation from last night has cooled somewhat, and it wasn't another 3 we scored, it was 4. That takes the running total for us to 12

We missed out - all down to Sunday now.

The Oasis rumours are pretty funny, Metallica have got it locked down.

Thought Metallica originally wanted to play, but Emily Eavis told them to fuck off?

Either way, not fussed about Metallica. I can only name Enter Sandman as one of their tunes anyway

Refreshed constantly for about 45 minutes, got through, plugged in the details and it tells me they've all sold out.

Bollocks. Fingers crossed for Sunday...

Last couple of our crew bagged theirs, think we've got 20 in total. Spent a chunk of Friday night discussing gazebo choices and van hire.
