Deathstep Snare

Hey dudes,

A bunch of people have posted asking about making those gnarly deathstep snares and stuff so I thought i'd post this here in case it interested anyone. I gave away this snare ages ago and a bunch of deathstep artists have been using it so feel free to use it if you wish!

Care to share the processing on this? I make some really punchy snare that are short which is great for neuro/glitchhop but whenever i try make a snare longer or ring a bit more it gets so messy.... Howd you get it ring like that?

Recorded a 14 inch tama snare tuned tight in a pretty big stone room, as for post processing it was just peak eq'ing, compressing, adding a burst of noise, tiny bit of saturation, more compression and then a pinch of reverb!
