It's the same deal with the car called Starrion which was supposed to be named stallion, but it was apparently phoned in.

Oh and M.Bison in streetfighter, was supposed to be the boxer guy

how is it 'donkey kong' when 'monkey kong' or 'monkey dong' was available?

silly
Miyamoto believed "donkey" meant "stupid" in English, and assumed the name Donkey Kong would convey the sense "stupid ape" to an American audience. When he suggested this name to Nintendo of America, he was laughed at, but the name stuck.
Most widely propagated example of Engrish ever?

this "hjehhe tunez so secretttt" shit is boring as fuckj. was it ever exciting? i dint think it was really

sometimes when u hear a tune live in a club and ur like "owaoowowow what was thatttt?" and u find out months later, its a great feeling

but if i hear some shit on the radio i just wanan know what the fuck im listening to

bigup sub.fm djs too, theyre all really good for giving out the track IDs

this always especially pissed me off with the swamp/school shows, not that just the not giving out names of dubs or who produced it, but that they always announce it and go 'ooooh its an exclusive, nooo no no can't tell you anything, no ids, S W A M P'

love joe nice with the tracklist

agreed, I actually have lists of mixes with tunes I still need to ID :/ because I can't find tl anywhere/there is none/it doesn't get mentionned
out to signal life and everybody adding/giving their TL's
lately I tend to not care about those tunes anymore (unless really exceptional/sick)
"If your chest ain't rattlin it ain't happenin'" - DJ Pinch
"Move pples bodies and stimulate their minds"
we just ride the wave
Life sucks; Get used² it.

big up your mum

yeah exactly i get having exclusive dubplates that people know you have and want to hear from you alone, that's been a thing since day, but it's not a big deal saying the name of the track
