A self confessed music addict with a light hearted approach to life and art. Originally starting his musical life as a drummer, Opiuo now finds himself at his best hiding from the world, creating fun fueled music. Influences coming from everything, from life changing experiences, to mere cups of tasty tea. Incorporating sounds as varied as jazz, reggae, funk, rock, psychedelia, and down right chunky goodness. Whether he is equipped with drum machines and synths or performing 100% live, Opiuo fans never leave disappointed.

Soulular Vibrations bring mind stimulation and heart activation in a fresh blend of organic and inorganic sound manipulation, with original, interesting arrangements and lush atmospheres – shaped by hard intricate beats, deep bass and spacey dub effects, with soulful harmonies and sexy melodies. Deeply saturated with love and honest intentions, Soulular is quality music for quality people.
* GRIDWORK *
Ryan Aicklen, better known as GRiDWORK, is much like the music that he produces, both worldly and complex. His musical affectation is unsurprising considering that he moved constantly throughout the United States during his youth. It was during these travels where he cultivated a diverse musical background through exposure to America’s eclectic musical styles (Blues, Jazz, Funk, Soul, & Hip Hop especially). This multidisciplinary education rooted itself deeply within his young psyche, greatly influencing his fledgling skills as a drummer/guitarist and eventually evolving into his genre defying musical perspective.
