^ Lordamercy... Mi seh!

So it's still kind of early to call it; think I might start with some mixes and see what that suggests.

But there's definitely something I'm hearing in common with a handful of newer producers that I'm really feeling. The temptation is to try and capture something profound in a name, but that's probably the worst thing you can do. Subtle is better. Like House music: who'd have thunk of such a thing 50 years ago, both sonically and etymologically?

It's also weird that these different people with little to no contact appear to be inventing this trend over and over individually. Wondering if there's some other commonality to them, like maybe there's a DAW feature they're all caning to get this feel.

Like I said, kinda spooked of the uncertainty principle - I want things to percolate and brew a little more before exposing it to the light, so to speak. But I'm already putting together a tracklist for a mix and will definitely share it here.

Lol @ Cock, UK Snazzy.

But this sound is popping up all over the place, not just the UK...

Maybe Snazzycock.
